This system is for use at midweek provincial and country meetings that, while not producing a lot of selections, seems to throw up good priced winners.

THE RULES
1. Ignore any race where the favourite is odds-on
2. Ignore any horse whose price is greater than $21
3. Eliminate any horse carrying more than 55.5 kgs
4. Eliminate any horse that was a last start winner
5. Eliminate any horse beaten at its last start by more than three lengths
6. Eliminate any horse whose last start was more than 15 days ago
7. Consider only horses who won at their second last start

TEST RESULTS: Tested over 75 days, it produced 15 winners from 76 selections and a place strike rate of over 38%. Average winners price was $7.00.
