THE RULES

1) Consider any race 1400 metres or longer
2) Eliminate any horse that hasn't started in the last 14 days
3) Eliminate any horse that hasn't won over the distance of today's race, give or take 50 metres if 1400 to 1550, 100 metres if 1551 to 1750, 200 metres if     1800 to 2150 or 300 metres if 2200 metres or more
4) Eliminate any horse that hasn't won or been placed at the track
5) Eliminate any horse that hasn't has at least three starts since a spell
