ONLY THE BEST
This is a great little system for sorting out the best of the best. It helps eliminate the confusion when faced with a weight for age classic or similar event.

THE RULES

1. Eliminate any race that is not a set weights race or a weight for age race
2. Determine the top three by average prize money i.e. total prize money won divided by the number of starts
3. Selection is the horse with the best strike rate BUT it MUST be more than 20%

TEST RESULTS: Over an eight month period, using metropolitan meetings in Melbourne, it came up with 41 selections of which 13 won at an
average price of $4.50 while a further 11 ran 2nd or 3rd. Seems okay to use with a slight progression staking plan.

(Warning: The test results are just that – test results – and are published for your interest. They should not in any way be considered a future
performance indicator or a guide to any profits that may or may not be made using these criteria. Racing is not that predictable.)
