THE RULES

Rule 1. Bet only on metro meetings in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide
Rule 2. Only consider the top average prize money earner if it has a winning strike rate of better than 28%
Rule 3. Eliminate any horse that started more than 21 days ago

(In test in late 90’s showed a strike rate of over 26% over 750 or so races)

A further rule was then added to only back selections that ran 4th to 6th at their last start. This apparently increased strike rate to well over 30% but significantly reduced the number of bets
